Paragon Associates stands out
regionally as a specialist in the design of athletic facilities. We
have designed and managed the construction of an extensive number of
baseball, soccer, football, track, tennis and outdoor hockey facilities.
Athletic facility design has the unique characteristic of site grading
being one of the principal end products. Dimensions and
elevations must conform to strict standards. Design also requires
an intimate understanding of the sports involved. For example,
alignment of baseball fields relative to the sun angle is particularly
challenging, especially if space is limited. Paragon has the ideal
balance of landscape architectural, surveying, engineering and sports
expertise to serve the needs of both public and private organizations. |

Paragon Associates prepared the site plan and assisted with the stadium
design, including the layout of
the dugouts and other ancillary facilities, for the conversion of the
Copeland Park baseball field to Loggers Stadium. One of the challenges
on the project was having the stadium ready for the 2003 season opener.
Paragon played a key role in managing the construction of the stadium so
that it was completed in time for the
season opener. |
